Jeff Jones
management consultant www.delta-ac.com Married 3
After graduation I headed to the University of Michigan and studied engineering science. Dale Shusterman from our class also ended up in Ann Arbor. I stayed at UM for 5 1/2 years ending up with a master's degree in public policy.

That degree took me to the Nation's Capital and a first job at US EPA working in pesticide regulation. After 2 1/2 years I left Federal service for the private sector and the consulting business. Initially most of my work was for the American Petroleum Institute...you can take a boy out of the oil patch but not the oil patch out of the boy. By the early 80's my wife and I formed a small consulting firm specializing in health and safety regulatory matters and later pesticide regulation. Still working and two of our three offspring are now part of a company of ten.

Many of you will remember my AFS foreign exchange student brother, Rudi Bauer. Rudi lives in Vienna and also became an entrepreneur focusing in information technology and data science. He worked for IBM Europe for a long time before starting his own business. We have remained close through the years and end up on the same continent 1-2 times a year. I'll be visiting Vienna in December to run a workshop on international regulatory issues affecting production and use of biopesticides and biostimulants.

My wife and I recently celebrated our 40th anniversary and have three children ranging from 31-37. Two of the boys are relatively close by but we fear that we've lost our daughter to the Left Coast (SFO).

I look forward to catching up with my MHS classmates next month. Between now and then, I'll be attending my other reunion in Findlay, OH. I did 10th and the first half of 11th grade in Ohio before finishing in OK.

Semi-Retired Married 3
I have had the privilege of working as an engineer and project manager in a number of first of a kind complex design projects and at operational facilities for Westinghouse, Department of Energy, and university locations across the country.  I retired this year after 45 years as Chief Engineer for the Technical Services portion of AECOM in Aiken, SC.  After a number of design projects, including advanced reactors, space missions, etc., I became focused on designing safety into high hazard nuclear and chemical facilities and was coauthor for a number of Department of Energy standards for these projects.  My last major project was at Michigan State University establishing the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams to permit physicists to perform next generation experiments and research.

My current activities include: Certified High School and College Volleyball Official, multiple positions at the local and council level within the Boy Scouts of America, United Methodist Committee on Scouting (UMCOS) Augusta District Religious Commissioner, range officer and competitor in the United States Practical Shooting Association, birding, and active member of our church’s Men in Mission building wheel chair ramps for folks with special needs. Most important of all my activities is spending time with my granddaughters.

Environmental Engineer RFSConsulting.com Married 2
Time flies...can't believe 50 years!  Thankful some of us are still around.  I am still working.  I started an environmental engineering and consulting company, RFS Consulting, Inc., in 1986 and still going strong.  My carrer has been a blessing, allowing me to extend my love for hunting/fishing/great outdoors into to a carrer.  I used to joke about working for a hobby, but that is basically what I do, and love doing it.  For those who remember me, I still hunt/fish/camp which is much of who I am.  Still hang out with buddies Gary Soderstrom and Bill Chalmers, when he is around.

I have been married for 45 years...to the same woman, Joy, who is the joy of my life.  Joy is a Stillwater gal i met at the Student Union at OSU and we have been together ever since.  We have two beautifiul daughters and four wonderful grand kids..2-8yrs, in Abilene and Colorado Springs.  I have a bachelors degree in Biology and Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering...both from OSU.  Go Pokes!
